Bill Moran

Bill Moran of Blinc Publishing is a 3rd-generation letterpress printer, graphic designer and professor of printing history at the University of Minnesota where he leads his annual letterpress learning abroad session, Travels in Typography. Since 2001 he has worked at Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in a variety of roles including the writing and publishing of his book Hamilton Wood Type, A History in Headlines. The book chronicles the history of the company and documents contemporary projects undertaken by the museum’s visiting artists. He currently serves as the museum’s artistic director, responsible for merchandising, annual programming and the museum’s visual brand.
