Charllotte Yue Qin

Charllotte Qin is a multi-media designer who works within and across a variety of medias and disciplines — visual and audio, print and time-based media. Her research is driven by a curiosity about how visual communication can generate multi-sensory experiences that fully engage the senses of a viewer. She is an Assistant Professor in Graphic Design & New Media at the School of Art & Science, State University of New York at Potsdam. Her teaching covers territories that include graphic design, interaction design, design approaches to branding and time-based media. Qin received a BA in Advertising from Shanghai Normal University, an MDes in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and post-graduate certificates in advanced design studies from the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst (FHNW) in Basel, Switzerland.
