Patrick Gosnell

Patrick Gosnell, Associate Professor at Austin Peay State University, is a design educator who prides himself on being able to spot improper usage of an em dash from fifty yards away. He has taught courses in typography, editorial design, branding, and the history of graphic design since 2013. Patrick is a card-carrying member of the Society of Typographic Aficionados, SECAC, and AIGA. He holds a BFA in photography from the University of Georgia and an MFA in design from Texas State University. Graphis and the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) have recognized Patrick’s work, and he regularly publishes reviews of design conferences for Slanted magazine. In 2015, he was published in ATypI’s 365typo vol. 1. He lives in Clarksville, Tennessee with his wife and two girls.
