Regina Milan

Professor Regina Milan brings unique perspective to UMass Lowell. With over twenty-five years of professional practice as an accomplished graphic designer and business leader, she has experience working with and leading teams of creative designers and marketers. Combining academic theory with real world practice, she guides and develops students who think critically, adapt, and are lifelong learners. In her first five years at UMass Lowell her teaching awards include being nominated twice for the prestigious Manning Prize for Excellence in Teaching. She was awarded the Art & Design Department Excellence in Teaching award (2015); Student Government Association Exceeding Excellence in Teaching, Teacher of the Year (2014); and nominated as the Student Adviser of the Year, AIGA, (2013).
