Q. Able to answer a few questions for the TypeCon Blog?
A. OK. Brief answers. Time is short at the moment.
Q. How many TypeCons have you attended, which was the first one?
A. 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007
Q· You’re a regular fixture at TypeCon – what keeps you coming back?
A. My adoring fans ;-) Some folks can't get enough “eye candy” of the semi-naked sort.
Q. Do you have a favorite TypeCon memory/story?
A. Let me think... Being in a hot tub with 4 stewardesses (aka flight attendants), playing drinking games after dark.
Q. What’s the history of shirt removal at type conferences?
A. Started as a sales inducement at ATypI Rome, 2002, during the auction, and quickly got out of control. I have since received “bids” from persons not offering to buy my T-shirt.
Q. Any tips for first time TypeCon attendees?
A. Bring a squirtgun.
