***The following information is essential for anyone who has registered for a TypeCon workshop Wednesday and Thursday, July 16-17. Please read the whole thing, or refer to your email instructions on where to go.
Those attendees pre-registered for optional workshops (Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17) may check in at workshop locations with or without a badge. You must bring your government-issued photo ID with you in order to check in.

Volunteers will direct you to the appropriate classroom(s).
You must check in at the workshop location no later than 30 minutes before your class start time. Workshops will begin promptly and end on time.
You must be pre-registered and have made payment in order to take a workshop.

Walk outside the front of the Hyatt and cross Pearl. Cut through the outdoor parking lot, then cross Franklin Street, and you're there! Use Google map for directions if driving.

Getting Around
BASCS and Paradise Press are within walking distance of the Hyatt. A workshop shuttle van will be available for TypeCon2008 attendees staying at the Hyatt for the following workshop venues: French Press, UB, and Quality Bindery.
Please gather in the Hyatt lobby by 7:45 am if you plan to ride the shuttle to your workshop Thursday (French Press, Quality Bindery, or UB locations). The van will take you back to the Hyatt after your class is finished.
The shuttle will return from the remote workshop venues immediately after the workshops are over. If you want to ride the shuttle, you must go to the loading area immediately at your classes' official end time.
